Goblins and Giants Mod for Minecraft 1.7.2

What is Goblins and Giants?

Goblins And Giants is a mod that adds a lot of new mobs and a dimension. It isn’t even nearly done yet right now, but there are already quite a lot of new mobs, items and blocks. The final plan is to have about 8 new dimensions where you need to collect a key from a very strong boss. When you have all of those keys you can get to the final boss. In every dimension there will be a lot of cool gear etc.

Quick Explanation:

The vampire looks like this.


The vampire bat is very small and fast. It spawns when a vampire dies. They both drop vampire blood. Put that in a crafting table to get redstone dust.

And this is the dwarf.



They will only spawn inside their houses and have some nice loot in their chests.

What is Magical Experience?

This is a mod that adds new ways to get and use experience. There are 2 new ores to get experience. There are also recipes for the mob spawner eggs and new bottles to throw.

Magical Experience ores:

There are 2 new ores in Magical Experience.

This is cobblestone experience ore. When you mine this it will give you experience and it will also spawn a silverfish.

The second ore is called experience ore. It looks like this.

This ore will drop magical powder which is used for pretty much everything in this mod.

Recipes:

Mob eggs

Magical Experience adds crafting recipes for every single mob egg. They are all crafted with 7 bottles O enchating, an egg in the middle and the mob drop in the top slot. This is the recipe for a creeper egg.

Bottles O enchanting

Bottles O enchanting are very useful in Magical Experience.
You can craft one with magic powder and a water bottle.
Except for that you can get experience with the bottle O enchanting there is more you can do with it now. There are a lot of great bottles that you might want to create.
First is the Fuel bottle. It can be crafted like this.

You can use it as fuel in your furnace and it is a lot better than normal coal.
Another use for bottles o enchanting is crafting Experion.

With this and sticks you can craft all the tools. All of the tools are pretty fast, but the hoe has a special function. Everytime you create farmland with it it will get wet.

That is still not everything. You can also craft an air bottle with one Bottle O Enchanting and sugar. When you use this if you are underwater you will get a very high air level.

One of the most important bottles of the game can be crafted with 4 Bottles O Enchanting.


This is the Large Experience Bottle.

Large Experience Bottles

Large experience bottles are crafted with 4 bottles O enchanting.
There are a lot of cool new bottles you can craft with this one.
The first one I will show is a Thunder bottle which is crafted like this.

The next bottle is the Tnt bottle.

The Tnt bottle can be used like this to create a Cluster bottle.

There is more. You can craft a fire bottle like this.

This bottle will create a 3×3 area of fire where it lands.

Another thing you can use the large experience bottle for is the dirt bottle.

This will create a 3×3 area of dirt where it lands.

There is one last bottle you can craft with this.

This will fertilize the land in a 3×3 area.

What is Peacefulpack?

The peacefulpack was a mod that originally has been made by Hogofwar. This mod adds new ways to get all the mob drops. You can get them all without having to fight any monsters. This can be useful if you don’t like monsters or if you just want more of the drops.

This is flax.



There are 3 stages. The first and the last are shown on this picture. When you hit one without the blue flowers you might get seeds, but you should wait for the flowers to appear. When they do appear you can hit the plant and collect flax fibers.
With flax fibre you can create string like this.


With the string you can also do some new things. Another thing it adds are these fossil ores.



When you destroy these you will get bones.

What is Koi Fish?

This is a mod that adds a new fish to minecraft called the koi.

It is simply a fish that spawns in water and swims around in there. When  you kill it you will get a fish. If you want to get this fish in your house you can simply craft a spawner egg with an egg and a fish.

What it does?

This mod takes out the health and food generation from peaceful. So in other words You won’t get your health back when you drop down a hill and you also need food to survive. This could be very fun and useful for everyone using the Peacefulpack to stop the need for monsters.

This mod changes 2 files from Minecraft. One of the changes is that you will loose food on peaceful. The second one is that you wont regenerate your health when you don’t have health filled.

What is Nether Eye?

This mod adds a nether version of an eye of ender to the game. You can craft it with an ender pearl and magma cream.
Use the Nether Eye in the nether to get the way to a nether fortress. If the nether eye doesn’t fly away when you right click it means that there ins’t a nether fortress nearby. When that happens you should start walking in one direction for a while and then try again.
