The XtraRecipes Mod, made by SilentDoom is a mod that add many recipes into minecraft. These include recipes for unobtainable items, recipes for obtainable but uncraftable items and recipe alternatives. XtraRecipes is different from other recipe mods and is the most balanced regarding the different item recipes. This mod does not offer new items into the game and runs off all vanilla items through minecraft

Salvage Recipes

Salvage recipes are recipes in which the crafted item can be salvaged into its original crafting components. Only recipe that use the same compnent throughout can be salvage. Below is an example. A full list can be found under the example.

How to install:

Download and install Modloader (For 1.5.2) or Minecraft Forge (For 1.7.10+).
Download the mod.
Go to %appdata%.
Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into it.
If one does not exist you can create one.
Enjoy the mod.
